If you use a model server on your own computer (for example, LM Studio or Ollama), page content does not leave your machine. If you use a cloud provider, that provider's own privacy policy and terms apply to the data the extension sends it.

Optional integrations

Analytics / telemetry

The source code includes an optional anonymous usage-analytics module (PostHog). It is off by default and only works if two things are true: a PostHog project key was built into the extension, and you turn analytics on in Settings > Analytics.

The release build is built without an analytics key, so it sends no analytics, even if you turn the setting on.

(For reference, if it were ever enabled, it would send only: a random anonymous ID, task started/completed/failed/cancelled events with duration and an error category, and the domain names of visited sites. It would never send page content, prompts, keys or full URLs.)
